Watching "My Name Is Earl" a while ago. DAMN the story just ended like this:
Randy: "If you had the chance to be an animal what would you be?"
Earl: pauses to think for a moment, then says " A dog. Cos I can sleep on other couches."
Randy: What about cats? Don't they sleep on couches too?
Earl: Yeah, um I guess so.
Randy: I wanted to be a monkey but it has the ('same catch?')
Then the story ends and I stare into the screen, stayed there for a while, then I went wth?!?
I'm partially deaf, you see. Or in other words, I can't fully digest the American accent. Or maybe, I'm just dense.
Reading "The Namesake" now. The story is quite interesting luh, it's about this Bengali boy who doesn't like his name, and well, his name is weird, I'll have to admit,
Gogol, if you must know. SIYUN? I think my name's okay, not as bad as any Tom, Dick, Harry. Come to think of it, they're like TomHANKS, DickLEE, HarryPOTTER right.
